Robert Morley Bockman

Robert Morley Bockman Morley passed away July 14, 2009. He was born in Long Beach, CA on December 29, 1927 and spent his entire life there. He attended Wilson High School and the University of Nevada Reno.

He played professional baseball before going to work at Hughes Aircraft for 28 years. Morley loved getting together with family, friends, playing golf, barb equing and helping others.

He was an active member of Bethany Lutheran Church. He was a generous man who will be sorely missed.

He is survived by wife, Lois; son, Gary (Peggy); granddaughter, Rebecca; brother, Ed; along with many family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday July 20, 2009 at 11:00am at Bethany Lutheran Church, 4644 Clark Avenue, Long Beach.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Bethany Lutheran Church Scholarship Fund or Long Beach Memorial Heart Foundation.
