Benny H. Bennett
entered eternal rest on 3/27/08. Born in Newport, Arkansas, Benny played
football for the Razorbacks, baseball for the Chicago Cubs, then enlisted
in the Air Force prior to the Korean War.
Returning to Arkansas with his wife Carole, he joined the Bennett family
in farming for 15 years.
In Phoenix since 1970, Benny established himself as a respected land broker
and was known for his quick wit and strong work ethics.
He was a dearly loved father, a faithful friend and an inspiring mentor
to many others. Benny is survived by daughters Debra McCarthy (J.T.) and
Cathy Huntley (David) , two grandchildren Kristin & Brent; brothers
and a sister in Arkansas; and his partner and friend Nadia Morrison.
Remembered as a Southern Gentlemen, a tenured AZ land man and frequent
traveler to Las Vegas; a service in his honor will be held at Hillside
Southern Baptist Church, 1344 W. Thunderbird Road on Tuesday, April 1st
at 4:00 pm. Arrangements by Hansen Mortuary.
