BAYAG, FABIAN JOSEPH,
74, of Miami, entered eternal rest on October 3, 2009 after a long struggle
with heart disease.
He will join his wife of 47 years, Joan, who preceded him in death three
years ago.
He will be remembered as: a brother to four, (Carl Fiebig , wife Roseann;
George, and Paul Hosso, wives Mary and LaNita; and sister Sandy Johnson);
a proud father of five (Dane, wife Debbie; Kristin, husband Joe; Brett,
wife Deborah; Dina, husband Manny; and Zack, wife Jessie); grandfather
of eight, (Katie, Stephanie, Hailey, Kelsey, Dillion, Shane, Luke, and
Britton); a reliable friend to many; supporter of the "U of M",
and a skilled athlete in whatever sport he put his mind to.
He served his country in the United States Marine Corps as a Corporal
playing baseball during the peace- time era and then had stints with two
minor league baseball affiliates of the Chicago White Sox and Baltimore
Orioles. Fabe continued his professional career in sports as a life-time
employee of Wilson Sporting Goods as a National Sales Representative and
sports official.
He will be greatly missed. The family will receive family and friends
from 6 to 8 PM Friday, October 9th at Stanfill Funeral Home.
A funeral service will follow on Saturday 10/10 beginning at 10:30 AM
at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 11295 SW 57th Ave., Miami, FL 33156
