Billy James (Bill) Bass, 79, of Wetumpka, Alabama passed away Sunday, November 30, 2008 at Gracious Age Assisted Living Facility in Sanford, Florida after a long battle with Parkinson's disease.

After graduation
from Wetumpka High School and Mississippi State College with a Master's degree in Education, he taught and coached in Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, and Alabama.

During his athletic life he played on the New York Giants (Baseball) farm team in Florida.

Private graveside services and burial will be in Jacksonville, FL.
