Barczewski Sr., Dominic J. on Wed., Dec. 26, 2007, baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection and fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church.

Beloved husband of the late Darlene Barczewski (nee Coker); father of Robert, Nicholas and Dominic Jr. (Annette) Barczewski and Rebecca (Rick) Rebecca, and Cathy (Jim) Isbell; brother of the late Edward Barczewski and Florence Guzinski; dear grandfather, uncle and cousin.

Dom served in the Navy during WW II in the South Pacific.

He played minor league baseball in the Cardinal's organization in the late 40's. He coached and mentored many at St. Anthony of Padua Parish in the 60's. Longtime parishioner of Queen of All Saints in Oakville, where his faith and family, including 16 grandchildren, meant the world to him.

Dom was well know and respected in the transportation industry, where he worked for over 40 years, including a highly successful stint at Yellow Freight System. He was affectionately known as 'The Prez'.

Services:Funeral from KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. (at Butler Hill), on Mon., Dec. 31, 8:30 a.m. to Queen of All Saints Catholic Church for 9:15 a.m. Mass.

Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Masses preferred. Visitation Sun., 3-9 p.m.
