Edward Frank Baldo, Jr. on Tuesday, February 16, 2010. Age 86 years.

Beloved husband of Joan Assel Baldo for 52 years. Father of Ronald Baldo (Pam), JoAnn Harris (Newman), Kirk Leonard (Catherine) and Bonnie Robertson (Richard). Son of the late Carrie Matti Baldo and Edward F. Baldo, Sr.

Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Edward served in the U.S. Navy WWII, played minor league baseball for the New Orleans Pelicans, the Thibodeaux Giants and is enshrined in the Evangeline League Hall of Fame Museum.

Edward was employed by Eastern Airlines for 35 years and was a former member of the Krewe of Carrollton.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at GREENWOOD FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 5200 Canal Blvd. New Orleans, LA 70124 on Saturday, February 20, 2010.

Visitation from 9:00 a.m. to service time 11:00 a.m. Interment: Private.
