Armenio "Hooks" Badia of Ossining died Dec. 4, 2012 as a result of a car accident, he was 77.

He was born March 14, 1935 in Ossining to Dominick & Mary Infantino Badia. Hooks was a former Minor League baseball player with the Cleveland Indians. He owned the Virginia Road Deli in White Plains. He was a member of the American Legion Post 506 & Columbus Lodge. He was an avid golfer and loved horse racing.

Armenio is survived by his daughter Toni Ann, son Michael (Annette), grandchildren Anna Maria & Amour-Tina, brother Frank and long time companion Barbara.

He will be reposing Fri. 2-4 & 7-9pm at Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State St. Ossining, interment private.
