Raymond Antonali Resident
of Alameda Raymond Antonali passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday,
January 17th, 2010 after a lengthy illness. He was 86.
Preceded in death by his loving wife Dorothy in 1991, Raymond was born
and raised in Alameda.
He went through the Alameda School system and graduated from Alameda High
School. Ray signed a professional Baseball contract right out of High
School with the St. Louis Cardinals organization and went to Pocatello,
Idaho to play minor league Ball.
Soon after Ray was drafted into the service where he served 4 years in
the United States Navy, Before returning to Alameda to raise a family.
Raymond is survived by his five children, Rosalie, Carleen, Sandra, Deborah
and his Son Johnny. Raymond is also survived by many grandchildren.
Friends and family are invited to attend the Rosary on Friday, January
29th, 2010 at 7:00p.m at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 3108 Van Buren
in Alameda. Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, January 30th at 11:00
am at St. Philip Neri.
Immediately following the mass there will be a reception at the Eagles
