VIRGINIA BEACH - Clarence
E. "Andy" Anderson, 87, born in Ludlow, Pa., died Aug. 19, 2010.
He was a 25-year resident of Sandbridge since his retirement after 33
years with Nationwide Insurance in Johnstown, Pa.
He served in the Navy during World War II and had a 6-year career as a
pitcher with the Brooklyn Dodgers.
Predeceased by his wife, Wilda, he is survived by his sons, David (wife
Joyce) of Florida and Daniel (wife Amy) of Pennsylvania. He had five grandchildren.
A man of few words, he touched the lives of many. He will be missed.
