Jim Busby Dies

   Colt .45s and Astros player/coach Jim Busby died Monday at University Hospital in Augusta, Ga., of a heart attack. He was 69 years old.

    Busby played and coached through a 28-year major-league baseball career that started in 1950 with the Chicago White Sox. He also played center field for the Baltimore Orioles and Cleveland Indians.

    He was a player/coach for the Colt .45s in 1962 and coached for the Colt .45s and Astros from 1963-1967. Busby also coached for the Orioles and Braves before retiring in 1978.
