Michael J. Blyzka, 75, of Cheyenne died Oct. 13 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

He was born Dec. 25, 1928, in Hamtramck, Mich., and had lived here for 32 years with prior residence in Denver.

Mr. Blyzka served in the Army during World War II.

He had retired as a baseball player, salesman and bartender.

Mr. Blyzka was a member of the Elks Lodge, American Legion and Major League.

He is survived by two brothers, John Bliss Jr. and Victor Blyzka; and two sisters, Olga Matt and Alice Sieracki.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Stella Blyzka.

Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes.
